Description
Intense dark purple in colour, with an inviting nose of blackberry, cassis, chocolate and soft cedar. The palate shows outstanding concentration and density with sweet blackcurrant, violet and plush velvety tannins supporting midpalate through to the finish.
The Draco was handpicked from our most prestigious Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard, ensuring only the highest quality bunches were selected. After destemming, the parcel was fermented in a small stainless steel open fermenter, with daily plunging and pump-overs allowing maximum extraction of colour and flavour.
Before reaching dryness, the wine was transferred to a selection of our finest French oak Barrique (225L) and Hogshead (300L) barrels. Maturing for 24 months, only a small selection of barrels were chosen for the final blend.

97 Points Sam Kim – Wine Orbit
A hugely appealing cabernet, showing dark fruit richness combined with vanilla, chocolate tart, cedar and cake spice aromas on the nose. The palate exhibits outstanding concentration and density with plush texture and velvety tannins. Sumptuous and opulent with a lengthy sophisticated finish. At its best: 2024 to 2040.
95 Points Rob Geddes
Deep ruby rim, black core with lifted Cabernet cassis and black currant, cacao aromas. The fruit matches the tannin structure, lovely integrated tannins and ripe fruit so the wine really sings in terms of the balance between sweet black currant and violets, fruit flavours and the silky velvety tannins matched with cedar and vanilla oak.
